Jackie & Joe in Europe

Guten Tag, Hallo, Bonjour!

Well, we had a wonderful week as Joe's brother Steve and his fiance Robyn came to visit us! We had six full days of fun (although Joe had to work for three of them) with quite a jam packed itinerary. We spent the first few days sightseeing around Brussels and Bruge, Belgium. Then, a day trip to Cologne, Germany to see some lederhosen. Unfortunately there was no one sporting such apparel, but we atleast got to try some German food and drink and take in some sights. The next three days we rented a car and drove to Amsterdam for Joe and Steve's birthday. Driving there started off quite interesting with it being our first time driving and navigating on European roadways. But, we eventually got adjusted and ended up only getting off track a few times with no accidents! From Amsterdam we drove to Paris and spent two FULL days of sightseeing from the Mona Lisa in the Louvre Art museum to the Eiffel Tower and everything in between. Paris is an amazing city and we ended up with tons of great pictures. It definitely was a quick week, but we were so happy to have visitors and get to show them some of the great sites of Europe. Luckily Steve and Robyn brought awesome weather as we had temps in the high 60's and full sun every single day (which is definitely rare at this time of year for Europe).
Well, obviously there is quite a few pictures once again for your viewing pleasure. I tried to keep it to a minimum, but we had such beautiful days and great sites it was really hard to slim it down! So, hope you have some time to view our pictures of the week!

Au revoir for now!
Jackie and Joe
