Here we are in front of the Mannekin Pis, the famous peeing boy who is a popular site of all Brusselians and visitors. Our new friend Dan, who went to the University of Wisconsin for one year, took our picture towards the end of a long, but fun day. We went to the Beer Festival at the famed Grand Place. This festival hosted 270 beers from 54 different brewers and a 30-cent fee for going to the restroom. The beer was delicious and strong, between 6 and 12% alcohol, ranging from light beers, dark beers and lambics (which is a little fruity), to name a few. Needless to say, we ran into some other American expats by the restroom (long line since there was only 3 rooms) and hung out with them for the rest of the night. They gave us some great advice, contact information and a group of non-working women for Jackie to hang out with.
